North Fire Station
A new building for the Red, White and Blue fire district that is highly visible from Colorado Highway 9. The cupolas and towers are reminiscent of 19th century fire stations, with a design that is complimentary to the surrounding Highlands neighborhood. Sleeping quarters, meeting rooms, administrative offices, fire apparatus bays and a full kitchen are all incorporated. Flexibility and adaptive use for each room was imperative.
